The Pink Team

The Pink Team is a FIRST Robotics Competition team supported by a 501(c)(3) booster club, based in Rockledge, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information our website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to information collected through our website (the "Site"), not to information we collect in person or through other means, such as sponsorship, event, or volunteer paperwork, which is handled separately from the Site and is not covered by this policy.

Join Form: When you submit our Join form, we collect your name, email address, your preferred team, and the message you provide.

Automatically Collected Information: Our Site is built and hosted on Wix. Like most Wix websites, our Site may use cookies placed by Wix to support basic site functionality (such as remembering your preferences) and to provide analytics about how visitors use the Site. We do not currently use any additional tracking tools ourselves. We use the information collected through our Contact Us and Join forms solely to respond to your inquiry or request. We do not use the information collected through these forms for marketing purposes or to build advertising profiles.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information submitted through our Site to third parties. We may share information with the following limited categories of recipients, only as necessary to operate the Site or respond to your request: 1. Volunteers, mentors, or booster club members who need the information to respond to your inquiry or process your Join request. 2. Our website hosting provider, Wix, which processes form submissions as part of operating the Site. We do not share your information with any other third party for their own independent use.

Our Site includes links to third-party websites that are not operated by us. Any information you provide directly to third-party sites is subject to that company's own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review those policies before using their services.

Children's Privacy

The Pink Team is a FIRST Robotics team, and some of our student members are under the age of 13. Our Join form is intended to be completed by a parent or guardian on behalf of a student who wishes to join the team, particularly if the student is under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our Site. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us directly, please contact us using the information below, and we will promptly delete that information.

Data Retention

We retain information submitted through our Contact Us and Join forms only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or request, after which it is deleted or archived at our discretion.

Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to: ask what information we have collected about you through the Site; request that we correct or delete that information; or ask any other questions about how your information is handled.
